Gaston Skills, Inc. is a private non-profit organization established in 1964 to serve adults who are mentally challenged in Gaston, Lincoln and the eastern portion of Cleveland Counties.  Through the years Gaston Skills, Inc. has expanded and developed new programs to provide services to adults with emotional, mental and physical challenges.  Originally located in Dallas, NC Gaston Skills, Inc. has relocated its base of operations to Gastonia, NC and acquired Salem Industries located in Lincoln County.
